DVDs For Vets is an excellent way to clear the shelves of unwanted DVDs and to benefit those who have served our country! In addition to providing entertaining DVDs for use in the VA Hospital, money donated to the project will be used to buy portable DVD players for use at the bedside of those veterans whose worlds are greatly limited by illness and disability. What an excellent way to open up their world by providing much needed distraction. It has been shown that 15 minutes of laughter reduces the perception of pain for hours!

THE DETAILS: The project runs through Friday, December 16. Bring any commercially produced DVD to Friday's TSR meeting. No VHS tapes please. Cash donations in any amount are welcome. Make the check out to TSR with" DVDs for Vets"on the memo line. If you have a working PORTABLE DVD player to donate, it would be most welcomed!
