Eileen Caspers, Topeka USD 501's general director of school and career programs, lead a recent discussion of the design aspects of the Topeka Center for Advanced Learning and Careers, also known as T-CALC. The career exploration program, slated to be housed on the grounds of the district's Kanza Science and Education Park, is modeled after Blue Valley USD 229's nationally-recognized Center for Advanced Professional Studies.
