Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 24 – and join the millions of people all over the world creating awareness for Polio Eradication!
 
Here’s what’s happening in the Kansas City area – and online -  for Rotary’s World Polio Day!
 
Illumination – End Polio Now Building Projection in Downtown Kansas City
If you’re in Kansas City, join District Governor Julie McCoy and other Rotarians as we light up the Kansas City sky with our or pledge to the children of the world: End Polio Now!
 
When: 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Where: Kansas City Marriott Downtown, 200 W 12th St, Kansas City, MO 64105
What: Join us in Bar Centrale at the Marriott for a drink, take a photo or video of the illumination and post it to Facebook and Instagram – help us create awareness for the amazing work of Rotary!
 
The End Polio illumination will be visible on the Kansas City Marriott Downtown on 12
 
th street following sunset Wednesday, October 24th 2018.
Many locations south of the hotel that provide a photographic view of the south  side of the hotel, including the south end of Barney Allis Plaza.
 
A press release is being distributed to news and media outlets to notify them of the illumination.
We are also anticipating that the City of Kansas City will proclaim Wednesday, October 24 as World Polio Day.
