RECAP

At the meeting, we decided that we will use some of our extra funds from not paying for breakfasts on Fridays to donate to LPS/Feed Northland Kids to make sure the kids who need it most are fed while school is out of session. Last week Russ and Larry did some shopping at Hy-Vee for items to donate and it seemed to go well. The Club will donate $110 to this cause each week for the next month, and we are challenging our members to donate what they can if desired. You can send checks to our Rotary PO Box, which is Box 616, Liberty, MO 64069.  If anyone would like to brave the elements to go shopping for the needed items (we can circulate a list) please let me know. Otherwise we’ll plan to donate monetarily each week (which may give our money more “buying power” anyway).

The other initiative we decided on at the meeting this morning was to donate our normal $250 quarterly charitable gift to the Liberty Hospital Foundation to help provide necessary equipment/supplies to Liberty Hospital and those one the front line.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Again, it was great to see all of yours faces this morning! We’ll plan to have another Zoom meeting next Friday, and hope to see everyone there.

Best regards,
