Rotary District Assembly - April 29th, 2017
Posted by Kim LeSage on Apr 17, 2017
I am excited to invite you to our District Assembly on April 29th in Chillicothe!
This is a free event where you will hear about amazing things going on in our District. You will have the opportunity to learn more about Rotary topics from District resources who will be available to answer your questions and provide you with any information you may need. We will hold the Four-Way Test Speech contest for high school students. We will honor two teachers as Teachers of the Year.
You will meet the Outbound Group Study Exchange team and meet and hear from the Inbound GSE Team from Argentina/Paraguay.
The team who traveled to Guatemala and learned about eco-toilets and global grants will talk with us. We will conduct our District business meeting and vote on a couple of very important items. And...we will have the energizing shoes roll call and final loading of Shoes for Orphan Souls with District Shoes Cheerleader Larry Lunsford! A complimentary lunch will be provided. See the attachment for the schedule and address of event. We ask that attendees register with the link at the top of this email by April 22nd.
There will also be a meeting for Presidents-Elect as well as a meeting for Secretaries who were not able to make it to PETs/SETs from 9:00-10:00.
A grants qualification training will be held immediately following the event at 2:00 p.m.
I look forward to seeing you on April 29th! Fun, fellowship, and tremendous opportunities!
*Club leaders, please keep in mind each club working toward the Governor's Citation needs to have an attendee present at this event to meet one of the requirements.
All my best,
Kim
