Your District Communications and Public Image team (Stephanie Smith, David McCaughey, and Kirby Asplund) is working on a project to inform both Rotarians and our communities about the work that's being done during the lockdown.
Stephanie is planning a special edition of the Rotary District 6040 Connection e-newsletter.
We'll also post relevant information to the District Facebook page - to encourage and reach out to our fellow Rotarians, as well as getting the word out into our communities that Rotarians are #PeopleofAction - even in the face of a pandemic.
Please take a moment to send me a message (kirbyasplund@aol.com) about what your club is up to to stay connected. For example -
- Are you holding Zoom meetings?
- Hosting remote happy hours to keep your membership engaged and connected?
- Are you engaged in (properly socially distanced - of course) service projects?
- Do you have medical professionals who are on the front lines of the fight?
- Anything encouraging or unusual to report?
