Recruitment is beginning for District and Global Grant Scholarships for study in the 2018-19 school year. You can reach Sherri Hahn, District Scholarship Chair, at shahnsj@aol.com for questions.
Our district supports:
- a $2500 District Study Abroad Scholarship
- Global Grant Scholarships for graduate students studying abroad and with career plans in one of Rotary's six areas of focus. The scholarship(s) awards may be from $35,000 - $70,000, depending upon the number of qualified applicants. The Rotary Foundation makes final decisions on scholarship approval.

Scholarships may apply to tuition, airfare, housing or food. Students must keep records and receipts of expenses. Students must reside in or study at a campus within the geographic boundaries of the district. More details on the scholarship guidelines are in the attached documents.
Deadlines:
- March 1, 2018 - Applications submitted to sponsoring Rotary Clubs who should interview applicants and, if they find them good candidates, forward them to Sherri Hahn at shahnsj@aol.com.
- April 1, 2018 - Applications are due to Sherri Hahn.
All clubs submitting applications for students must be Grants Qualified for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 Rotary years. Grants Qualification training for 2018-19 will be held in April-June 2018.
Application forms are being revised and will be available no later than January 1, 2018. Notification of application form availability will be sent to Club Presidents, Grant Managers, and Club Foundation Chairs and application forms will be posted on the district website.
We are very committed to all district Rotarians knowing about these scholarships and having an opportunity to recruit scholars. Please think about your non-Rotarian friends and families of your friends as well as make contact with higher education institutions in your community.
