You may be aware that two very important events are coming up next month in the life of the District: the District 6040 Conference, and the annual Foundation Dinner are both taking place on Friday, October 26th. These are events that will both inform and inspire - and help to raise funds that will allow us to continue to make an impact here in northern Missouri and around the world.
What's New for the Foundation Dinner 2018?

- Jean Irwin-Hatfield, funny and engaging, 'Taking Language from the Rich and Giving it to the Poor: Lessons Learned in Nottingham'. Former ambassadorial scholar who has lived a life created and made possible by Rotarians.
- Golden Ticket Raffles -
- A week in Daytona Beach on the beach (Rolfe and Julie McCoy donors, from Chillicothe Rotary Club)
- Custom designed Rotary jewelry with the theme logo and Rotary emblem (Trisha Kennedy, Kennedy Jewelers from Blue Springs Rotary Club donor)
- Good Food -
- Everyone wins: brisket, pulled pork, fried chicken four scrumptious sides and dessert!
- Photo Booth -
- Bring your friends, commemorate the evening!
- Your District Rotary Friends -
- North, South, East and West - we all come to celebrate OUR Rotary Foundation!

In the coming month, a lot of information will be available, providing details of the events. While it's important for you to see the information, we obviously don't want to fill your inbox! (There will be a few occasions when information is sent via email - but we want to keep this to a minimum - as I'm sure you do.)
