Program: "Adventures in Swaziland"

By: Wendy & Rick Walleigh

They are retired Silicon Valley executives: Wendy (Marketing) & Rick (Engineer). They asked themselves what to do with their lives now. They wanted to do something that was beneficial to all concerned; they could give back of their talents and enjoy new experiences. They found the answer thru TechnoServe a company that offers business solutions in "third world" countries. They were in Swaziland six months and Kenya one year.

Their many talents were put to work helping individuals establish a business, organizing education programs, and working with farmers to improve their business relations. Rick said he never knew that a bride's family had to give the groom's family 17 cows - one of his many learning experiences.
Their objective in presenting this talk was to encourage you to follow your goals - like they did. Help others - feel good about your work and yourself.
