2018 – 2019 Message from President Bert

 

Thank you for visiting our website! Now, how about visiting our club? We are a group of local business, professional, and civic leaders. We meet regularly, listen to and interact with interesting and inspiring speakers, and we participate in worthwhile projects both within our local community and throughout the world.

 

In 1990 I left a position at Hewlett Packard to help my wife operate a small business in Mountain View, and I quickly joined Rotary to learn more about our community. Since then, Rotarians—in Mountain View, and throughout the world! --  have become some of the key people whom I trust, am friends with, do business with, and am inspired by. Through Rotary, I have personally experienced feeding the poor in Mountain View; delivering wheelchairs to folks who couldn’t afford them in Belize; and helping to eliminate polio in India and Africa.

 

Our club theme this year is “Have Fun Being the Inspiration.” We organize and participate in fun projects, through which we accomplish significant tasks—but we need more members to help us succeed. Come to any meeting and check us out!
