Advocacy and Creativity: Two Pillars of a Meaningful Life

Kris has been honored for her leadership in advocacy for children by the California Legislature  and Governor’s office. Educated at Stanford, UC Berkeley and Palo Alto University in economics and forensics psychology, Kris served for over 20 years as the CEO of the American Academy of Pediatrics, California, a nonprofit dedicated to the health and well being of children. These days in addition to writing thrillers and mysteries nearly full-time, Kris teaches and consults in organizational dynamics, strategic planning and nonpartisan advocacy training.
