Mixer with MB club, November 4, 2010 at Scott's office. Fundraiser March 26 at Vets hall. Meeting at Dan's to plan the event. Aug 29, beach clean-up and bar-b-queue. Judy Salamacha, conference director of the Central Coast Writer's Conference. Central Coast writer's conference is in its 26th year. Conference is held at Cuesta College and has 300 members to encourage writing. The event takes place Sept 17 & 18, and costs $159. Keynote speaker will be Nathan Bransford who is a literary agent with the San Francisco office of Curtis Brown Ltd., a New York based agency that has been representing writers since 1914. Along with Nathan will be 14 other speakers for 2 days of learning and guidance. The conference wants to expand to include teen writers. PG& E gave a grant to promote 18 people. Two gifts will be available to Cayucos Middle School. Judy says, "It's all about jumping in with both feet." Jude Law: MB Fish Fry, Saturday 2-7.
