They are 10 strong and continuing to build. They want 15 members in order to charter. ï‚· They are involved with beach clean-ups, high school clean ups, Big Brothers & Big sisters. Involved for 18-30 year olds. They meet twice a month. They have a board but its built into the meeting so they still have time with family and work on their professions. ï‚· Sponsorship is important and they are asking $250 from each sponsoring club. ï‚· This club is the training ground for a future in Rotary. ï‚· Sponsorship involves mentoring and the key component is not telling them what to do, but guiding them but still letting them guide their own meetings and coming up with their own projects. ï‚· They have a Facebook page that helps with recruitment. ï‚· It's important for the Rotaract members to be linked with the local Rotary clubs so they can transition into clubs. ï‚· Meetings are in San Luis at Mother's Tavern the first Tuesday and third Wednesday of the month. ï‚· 50/50 Drawing ï‚· Meeting adjourned @ 8:00 am
