Small Art Carries a Large Reward

Rotary Club of Cayucos-Seaside Thursday, March 25, 2010 Call to order: Pledge Invocation Club Business:  4 Way Test Essay Contest to be conducted at club level due to the deadline being so tight because of the school schedule.  Meeting tonight at Liz's house to discuss the fundraiser.  March 25th is our 2nd year Anniversary!  The 60th Anniversary of the Morro Bay Club on April 17th. An amazing speaker will be present.  Rotarians at Work Day in April 24th.  July 4th we are contributing to a booth and a parade walk. Gary is heading up the committee.  Blood Drive is taking place in June. Members will be responsible for setting up donors.  District assembly is on April 10th.  June 12 is the District Gov. demotion and awards.  Thursday June 24th, we are declaring that morning dark. That evening we will do the step-down for Dan.  We are dark April 22nd. May the 6th we are also dark.  Saturday is a one hour no power night.  Guest Speakers: Diana Roberts and Yvonne Helms  Artist trading cards 2 ½ by 3/12 inches. Keep them sturdy.  Artist trading cards are individual art miniatures which pass from hand to hand.  Artists sign and date the back.  They are typically made on a base of card stock.  ATC websites: www.atcsforall.com  This group is for everyone who lives in San Luis Obispo that makes and trades ATC's. All ages and experience levels are welcome.  They meet at the library in Atascadero from 1-4 on the first Saturday of the month. 40 members in the group.  50/50 goes back to the club  Meeting adjourned @ 8:05
