Dues will be increased to 115.00 starting the next Rotary year. ï‚· Dan will put out an e-mail containing information on dues. ï‚· Scott with the Rotary foundation announces Brenda Daley as the next Paul Harris Fellow. If you are interested in being a part of the next quartet, you have 9 months to get your money together. ï‚· Atascadero Crab Feed was a success. Delicious crab was served, the place was full and the theme is catching like wildfire. ï‚· Paso Robles has a Crab Feed now-check out the flyer from Dan if interested. 3/14. ï‚· Sat. March 27 is the district assembly. ï‚· Rotarians at Work Day is on April 24th. We are teaming up with the Morro Bay club. ï‚· Guest Speaker: Liz G. ï‚· She attended PETS: President-Elect Training Seminar ï‚· Here is what she learned: ï‚· Next theme, Building Communities and Bridging Continents; think locally and globally. ï‚· Responsibilities include membership and Polio. She wants to be organized, lead by example, and have fun. ï‚· Liz's job is to bring more Rotarians in! We have to ask and tell and wear our pins, advertise and grow our club. ï‚· Polio: important to keep the pig going. Our club has vaccinated around 2,000 individuals already. When you think about it-every penny helps and builds up to make a huge impact. We are on the final stretch. ï‚· Ask yourself what pulls your heart strings, why you are here and keep rockin'!!! ï‚· Other announcements: March 12 @ Noon Cambria Pines Lodge for special guest speaker. ï‚· Group 11 is thinking about the shelter box. ï‚· We still have access to district grants. ï‚· Meeting adjourned @ 8:05. ï‚· Next meeting March 11th.
