Thank you Brad for coming early and Liz for being the greeter.

This month is Vocational month: From the ABC's of Rotary vocation is the second avenue of service. This aspect is very closely related to all of us because we have a profession of passion and it is how we represent ourselves to the public and we want to do so in the highest ethical standards. We can seek to improve and promote business relations. Examples of vocational service offering career guidance, offering internships, always apply the 4-way test.

Your opportunity to promote your business is happening this month. Sign up for a date to share your vocation before it's too late.

Car Wash is next Saturday, October 18th. Flyers are circulating around town. Sell those tickets!

Beach Clean-up Wednesday, October 29th 1-2 p.m.

Cookbook Committee: After car wash will be a new meeting scheduled and then we are really going to get busy. Historic cookbook will include family recipes, art by students, launch date is July 4th and then it will be a long term fundraiser.

Monday, November 10th next board of directors meeting. Power point presentation about how you can access the website.

Club Brochure has been produced, feel free to take several to share!

Within our district: Rotary Club of Grover Beach celebrated their anniversary. Inducted three new members.

Basic PERLS- session on Rotary, leadership skills etc. 8:30-3:00

Thursday, October 23, 5:30-7:30-Hoppe's $17.00 dollars to attend Anil's social. They know how to throw a party-don't miss it!

Jan was inducted officially into Rotary. Great job and we welcome you with open Rotary arms.

Guest Speaker: Hilary Hopkins: Representative for First American Title. Hilary lives in Los Osos, visits lenders, realtor customers get visits, office is in Morro Bay, Cambria, and San Simeon. Title insurance company provides escrow services acting as a neutral third party among the buyer and the seller. Emotions and stress are a large part of the job. Hilary meets interesting people, handles small unimproved property, to huge locations and even mobile homes. If you are buying or selling property, contact Hilary for the best service and the best cost. Highly regulated cannot charge higher or lower than the posted rate. There are five full time people in the Morro Bay office.
