Cayucos – Seaside Rotary October 7, 2010 Present: Jan, Jessica, Liz W., Pam, Brenda, Emily, Gary, Scott Meeting started @ 7:05 a.m. Liz G. went to Rotary in Shelby, MI Liz G. is coordinating with the Senior Center regarding battery replacement for seniors. Next Thursday is mediation training. From 5-7 @ Cayucos School. November mixer is November 4 @ 5:00. Everyone needs to bring an appetizer. District Conference is Oct 22-23 Deepa on Oct 28, 2010 Viva Las Vegas this Sat, $65.00 @ the door Vets' Hall, Cambria Jan made a motion to contribute $100 to be in the MB Business Convention. Brenda 2nd motion. Motion passed. We will sell cookbooks. Jan gave a vocational speech. Gave it on being a Senior Peer Counselor, Wilshire Health Group Sees one in LO and MB. Finds it very helpful and satisfying. Transportation is the biggest problem Brenda has made a change in employment. Loves her job again. Atmosphere is uplifting and supportive. Lending approval is on a 30 day turnover. Talks for next week, Dick, Dan, Liz W. Sunday 10 a.m. @ the pier for beach clean-up. Meeting adjourned @ 7:55 a.m.
