B.O.D. meeting and potluck on December 18th at 765 North Ocean-Emily and Craig Campbell's Beach House. Donate to the hat for clean up costs.

District grant to help pay for the scoreboard-Liz is the expert on this issue.

Cookbook: submissions are coming in-will keep Hilary updated on what the school is doing.

Youth Rotary leadership awards: only available for high schoolers- $350 dollars for students, reserved some space for our club, January 31st is the deadline, high school students that have leadership potential, have to be 14, cannot send our own children.

Updated list of members passed out: challenge to bring in one new member by April 15th!

Community announcement: this Saturday, December 13th, it's the third annual fundraiser for the homeless shelter at the South Bay Community Center in Los Osos. You can buy brand new items, buy a brand new toy and donate to toys for tots-you can give twice! Food and fun available.

 

 

 

 

Welcome guest Cari Maffioli: Cari is active in the community, Cayucos PTA, Little league Cayucos Ed Foundation, oversight committee, 2 sons live in Cayucos. Here to promote Cayucos Educational Foundation.

Passed out a flyer to promote the novel, My Heart belongs to Cayucos by Robert Lyons. The book is $10.00 each. On December 19th doing a book signing and its free and everybody is invited. 100% on the proceeds will be donated to the Cayucos Education Foundation, 500 books in publication.

December is Family Month and Emily Campbell is Family Chair: has a few words to share about the Family of Rotary. What she does is honor all of our member's birthdays, send card and well wishing . She also plans parties and fellowship. Get together for potluck is next so bring a guest. If you have suggestions of other fun family ideas let Emily know.

4 Way Test winners are awarded: Kassie, Berkeley, Devin and Kylie thank you for beginning the Rotary commitment at such a young age. You are all winners and Rotary thanks you for your effort in the essay contest.

March 1st bowling tournament for Big Brother and Big Sisters. Let's get a team together for a good cause and tear it up at Mustang Lanes!
