Flowers can change your life!!

Cayucos Seaside Rotary July 29, 2010, 7:00 a.m. Present: Jessica, Emily, Gladys, Liz W, Chungsum, Liz G, Sherry, Dan, Pam Invocation – Liz G, next week Emily Bob Gordon – Speaker Bob is the Professor Emeritus Ornamental Horticulture at Cal Poly SLO, and owner of Gordon's Floral Design Studio in San Luis Obispo. His presentations, "Flower Took Me There" is about his experience in the world of flowers including but not necessarily limited to, Cape Town Festival, South Africa, Nippon Flower Arrangers, Japan, Inauguration of George HW Bus, rededication of the Statue of Liberty, teaching in London, taping a TV series, etc. Bob has enjoyed a varied and at times unexpected life due to flowers. He joined Rotary after he retired. Los Osos grows flowers for seed. Nipomo Mesa grows cut flowers; Lompoc valley has one of the largest growers in CA.
