He is at Bayside Nursing Home in Los Osos Room 34. Guest Speaker: Karl is a World War II veteran. He was part of an air force bomber crew in Europe. He was shot down and captured by the Germans in August 1944. He spent the rest of the war as a guest of the Third Reich. The last three months he was marched by the Germans for 90 days, over 500 miles. After the war he returned to work at the Bank of America. He retired as a vice president in 1982. 50/50 drawing $94.00 no winner due to red chip. See you next Thursday for Dan's step-down party.
