Easter Baskets to Needy Families
In commemoration of 25 years of women in Rotary, Cayucos Rotarian ladies made easter baskets for four families in Cayucos.

The four families were selected by Cayucos School, comprising 10 children and eight adults. The project was spearheaded by Past President, Liz Weeth and Club Secretary Gladys Bird. With the assistance of Sharon Anderson, Club Treasurer Pam Cookson and President-Elect Nominee Donna Archer, the ladies donated baskets, and took time to shop for ham, scalloped potatoes, fruits including apples and pears, fresh vegetables such as green beans, asparagus. These items were beautifully arranged with tooth brushes, and tooth paste; necessities according to the school advisor. For added fun, packages of mixed Easter jelly beans were included as treats for the children.
The baskets were delivered to the school a few days before Easter for distribution to the families. Caycuos Rotarians are glad to be able to serve the community on this happy Easter period.
