Club Business:
Brenda will be doing the invocation next week.
Saturday, March 12th from 10-noon will be the changing of batteries for Seniors.
Seaglass festival at the Vets Hall in Cayucos.
Press Release needed to accompany the picture of peer mediators and peace helpers.
4-Way Test essay contest to be conducted 3rd trimester.
March 17th bring all items to meeting for fundraiser.
Wednesday, March 23rd at 6:00 pm meet at Emily's house to finalize prizes etc... for fundraiser.
April 9th and 16th is the District Assembly in Oxnard and then Bakersfield.
Guest Speaker Liz Weeth:
At PETS I attended workshops on: Rotary 101, the history and Rotary Basics.
Fundraising that works
Club operations and administration
Membership increase 3-5% will be her goal
Items Liz would like to pursue: successful projects, keep ongoing projects like peace helpers at Cayucos School, beach clean-ups, essay contests, Paul Haris, public relations, and Polio eradication.
The guest speakers were great and PETS helped to improve public speaking.
