Next Board of Directors Meeting on a Monday. Need to talk about accounting due to loss of Treasurer.

Family Field Day scheduled for the Spring. Several games to perform on the lower field. Goofy games and lots of fun, but requires a lot of preparation. Please refer to the list of games or research some of your own for ideas to add to this fun, family event.

Rotary Youth Leadership assembly- for Juniors in High School. You can nominate anyone as long as they are not your own child. A week long camp where they will learn valuable skills and networking with others. Deadline for nominations is January 31^st, 2009.

66 Campsites busy all through the summer and winter months.

Fish and Peak Trail-if you want to get in shape, it's well worth it because of the beautiful panoramic views.

Los Osos Community Park and skate park

Beach access are maintained and also the local pools, Hardy Park

In the late 1940's agreed to take over the maintenance of Cayucos Beach and Morro Bay golf course.

Chuck's staff deals with playground, pier, pool, access, and tennis court maintenance. Staff is also responsible for the mowing and upkeep of the grounds in the community.

July 5^th, come volunteer to clean-up

Funded by Parks Operating budget for supplies, projects, vehicles, etc. 25,000 budget. Money from Propositions and Park initiatives also a help.

Playground money came from Props 12 and 40

Purchased life guard towers,

New Slab in front of Cayucos Restrooms, put in new pier fire line, right now working on pier inspection to note deterioration over time.

Organizations that have helped: the Lioness Club, Rotary with beach clean-up, Cayucos Art Association and Mural Society have beautified the area and commemorates Chumash heritage and native plants from area. Mural painted on the side of the restrooms is a new addition and pleasing to the eye.
