Thanks to Gary Gerber, aka "Bob".  Gary provided us some keen insight on his PhD, Purpose, Hope and Destiny!  The concepts illustrated helped the membership at large understand how your business or activities involving others needs to have strong leadership to survive.  Gary was a great sport after your President somehow got his name off target.  Thanks again to Gary for being kind to me on my debacle and for being an interesting speaker

.  It was very good to see John Bertolotti back in action after his hiatus to the Rotary International Convention in the UK, unfortunately he was about five months late and in the wrong City….at least Anton at the right timing, but he could not get the city right either.  As we come into the holiday season, we give "Thanks" for all that we have and all that we can give.  I have much to be thankful for personally.  I thank the directors and  board members of our club and those that have worked so hard to better our little part of the world.   I also give "Thanks" for the opportunity to serve with all of our members.  I hope that you all have a safe, peaceful and enjoyable Thanksgiving Holiday!

Away from the club, last night Bob Buchser and his lovely wife Carol, Gary Citti and his lovely wife Linda and I enjoyed the celebration of the newest chartered club in our District 5170.  The new "STAR" club is in Sunnyvale, and meets Thursdays 7 PM at the Ramada Inn near Lawrence and 101.  The club is made up of Turkish Americans and others, and hopes to perhaps work with us one day on a project.  We encourage you to give them a visit and your support.

Coming this week:

Our Board meeting has been changed dates and will be held next Tuesday (11/24) 6 PM at Dan Holders.   This will be our only meeting between now and the end of the year.   We are dark next week for thanksgiving and will return to action December 3 with the speech contest in full swing.  Enjoy your week, weekend and holiday, see you in December.
