Shelter Box Update - Typhoon in Philippines

In Past President Dan Holder's year, the Rotary Club of Santa Clara contributed funds to purchase two Shelter Boxes for distribution anywhere in the world that a disaster might strike.  These boxes are sent to some of the most dire situations and provide hope for families, that have been displaced from their homes after a disaster.  


 
It is through our continued giving and support of this program that the Rotarians and supporters of the Rotary Club of Santa Clara have contributed toward the purchase and deployment of four boxes throughout the world since 2009. 

President Steward Cusimano recently announced that in this past month, deployments of boxes sponsored by the Rotary Club of Santa have been made to the people of the Philippines after recent typhoons.  Your support has made a difference in the World. Thank you!!

May the required use of these life saving supplies and shelters be minimal and may the people return to their homes and normalacy of life as soon as possible.
