Despite the stormy conditions our annual Christmas for Kids went off without a hitch last Thursday. The Royal Coach buses braved the rain and as the kids got off the buses umbrellas kept them dry as they walked into Stevens Creek Lexus. The Interactors helped them to their tables where they got busy making Christmas cards for the drivers and a few get well cards for Mike Moul. Holders Country Inn delivered the lunch that was served to the kids by Members and the Interact students. A lot of questions from the kids about Santa arriving and how he would stay dry on the trip. Not to worry, Santa rolled in with the top up on his Lexus convertible. The top came down and our jolly Santa was ho hoing all the way to his chair. The 150 kids received a new coat and a bag of toys. One wrapped toy was in each bag and the kids were asked to put that one under the tree and wait until Christmas day. Not sure if that really worked.

A big thanks to all of those who helped make this a memorable day for the kids. Lots of Photos were taken and the TV Channel for the City and Santa Clara Unified School District recorded the event. Also recorded but yet to be released were a few Rotarians dancing to some Christmas Music. A sight to behold, it may go viral.
