Last week's Meeting - Master Hand Analyst
"Thank you" to Pamelah Landers, Certified Hand Analyst and author, who demonstrated
how to use this scientifically-based system to determine which Rotarians were going to be successful and which ones would be on the streets soon enough. Her fascinating and insightful approach to reading people peaked the curiosity of the entire room. The "handsome" Bob Bucsher found his lifeline was long and Lorenzo was all over his Venus mound. It was a fun time for all, a big "Hand" to Sandy of inviting Pamelah to speak for the club.
We also welcomed our newest "Running Red Badger", "Ruby" Michael Beck and look forward to his personal bio presentation soon. Michael comes to us via his "all knowing" sponsor Dave Delozier.
Andy Ratermann gave us an update on the new restaurant program for advertising in our Soccer Tournament program. Please visit the link at the front of our web page for more details.
We are still a little short of our pledge for The Rotary Foundation. I would like to ask any of you that still have not given this year to consider making the pledge to Dan Holder. Currently we are $3,000 short of our pledge goal of $15,000. While we were a bit ambitious in our goal, it is still an effort that we need to make. Any pledge amount will be greatly appreciated. June 30th is our last day to make the pledges count toward this year. The money we pledge today will be made available to our club in 3 years, so one of you lucky members may be President that day and hopefully it is your pledge which makes the difference in your year.
This Coming Week
It's a blast from the past, as Past President "Diamond" Michael Beach will host while I am away on business. Our guest will be George Goetz, who is being brought to us from Tressa Williams; George is a Rotary Exchange from France. This should be an excellent program and hopefully the French will do better this World Cup. Vive La France! ;)

Our Board meeting for the month will be a combined board meeting with President Elect Anton Morec's board on June 24, 2010, 6 PM Holder's Country Inn.
This June 28th will be an open Foundation Board meeting, 6 PM at Holders Country Inn. If you wish to have more insight and perhaps help map the future of our club's Foundation, or have questions, please let us know that you intend on attending. You may contact Anton, Miles or myself to RSVP.
