We now have 3 ways of enhancing the club's website.  Looking at the HOME page, there are two blue lines of text in the top story.  The blue indicates that there is a link to some other part of the Internet - could be within Club Runner or could be in the furthest computer from Santa Clara. The first link will take a visitor to a PowerPoint presentation I wrote about RI and about Our club.  The second link will take the visitor to an RI library of videos stored on YouTube.  The next article on the HOME page describes the process of hitting the NEWS tab and then another link on the NEWS page.  This one brings up a video in the Club Runner window. Currently, the video is Bill Gates challenging Rotary to raise $200 Million.

Yes, that is right, I am about to say, now it's your turn. For there to be any value from all this, YOU (and that is anybody reading this) needs to produce content. Content can be more information for the PowerPoint, more links like the RI LIbrary, and video pertaining to our club, community, international projects, social events and so forth. The video would be posted on the NEWS page for every visitor to see.

Prospective members do visit our site.  The more variety of methods we use to inform them, the greater the opportunity to keep their attention and to get them to step up to membership. The more we communicate this information, the greater the interest level and participation of our members.  While looking for DDF funds, I came across a club in this District that is in the process of putting together a program to build over 300 libraries in China. Their website has 5 people contributing just to the HOME page.

As to the picture of me with hair as described by the author of the Peanut Gallery, that was taken last week before I shaved.  Hmmm......Four Way Test, what Four Way Test :-)
