A Special Message

At toady's meeting we inducted our newest member, Suresh Ojha. Suresh was born in Nepal and has family still living their. He has been working hard to  organize communications efforts between families here in the US and Nepal as well as other tasks.  His story is compelling and the needs of the country are great. One of the quickest things that can be done now for the people of Nepal is the distribution of Shelter Boxes.

At today's meeting we passed a sign up sheet for donations to purchase additional Shelter Boxes and stated that for every $ donated the Club would match up to an amount of $2000.  If you were not at the meeting today and would like to add your name to the list please contact Miles Barber ( miles@adminbenefits.com ) with your name and the amount of your donations.

 

Our speaker today was Chuck Reed past Mayor of San Jose who is a member of the San Jose Downtown Rotary Club.  Before his talked he donated a fresh $100 bill with the provision that we match it -- which we will.
