The “Mission City Ground Hog” saw it’s shadow and we will have to face six more weeks of these 60-degree plus temperatures we have been facing.  Anthony J. D’Angelo puts it best when he said, “Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine!”
 
 

Our Treasurer to be, Michael Beck and his lovely Janelle spent time wine tasting in Paso Robles to enjoy nine glorious years of matrimony on January 19.

 

Our guest speaker, Maureen Jones picked Lou Ann’s number in the Joker’s Wild and although Lou Ann is truly a winner she did come up a loser today.  The pot has grown in excess of $800.

 

Ted recounted from last week on how special the program that Ana and Isa presented to the club and again for those who missed this, it was truly special.

 

Kenny announced last week the untimely passing of Janet Roddy.  Janet had worked with Kenny for seventeen years and she has been the communications director for our Soccer Tournaments over the years.  Rest in Peace and thank you Janet for all you did for us!

 

Heath introduced our guest speaker today, Maureen Jones who is representing Citizens for Safe Drinking Water.  Maureen expressed her very valid concerns having fluoridation in our water supply.  Thank you Maureen for taking the time in your schedule to visit with Rotary.
