Executive Director Mid-coast School of Technology

Bobby Deetjen began working at Mid-Coast School of Technology as the Assistant Director and Student Services Coordinator in 2012 before his recent appointment as Director. Before entering the world of Career and Technical Education, Bobby was employed at Ellsworth High School as a Special Education and Social Studies teacher. He believes every student should have the opportunity to take advantage of everything Career and Technical Education has to offer.

Bobby holds certifications in Secondary Special Education, Social Sciences, and Administration.

While not in school, Bobby spends as much time as possible with his wife (Kate) and two kids (Noah and Hannah). He enjoys running, hiking, playing basketball and golf.
