Prior to our speaker. Rick Chron provided the club with a classification speech.  Rick has been a Rotarian since 2004.  He has been in the towing business for 32 years.  Rick spent 10 years in the Marines.  His classification talk was brief, informative, and provided an example for all of us on how this is done.  Thanks Rick.

Our speaker today was none other than our own Maltee McMahon.  Maltee is a sales trainer with Dignity Memorial and spoke to the Club today about funeral, cremation, and cemetery services.  Maltee began by providing a recap of definitions associated with funeral planning.  A primary goal of funeral planners is to help people overcome the fear factor associated with funeral / burial decisions.  Maltee stated that in general, cemeteries are changing and there is significantly more personalization than in the past.  Maltee provided an overview of the planning process and decision points associated with funeral planning.  She also spoke regarding the assistance that is available for grieving families.  She ended her presentation by stating that today is the best day to start planning for your funeral.

The motto of Rotary is "Service Above Self." We all know from experience how much more we can accomplish together than alone. Along those lines, it is imperative that we actively promote our club and invite friends and coworkers to join.
