District 6540 Rotary Foundation Chair Dan Ryan

Dan Ryan, District 6540 Rotary Foundation Chair, has been a member of Rotary since 1988.  He spoke about the lingering costs and tests that need to be done to ensure that we have eradicated polio.  He was very proud to note the success of that program!  Spoke of the extreme importance of literacy.  Ryan sited many statistics of women and poor that end up illiterate.  He believes that as our club has done so well with the issue of eradicating polio we can come together again to promote literacy!  This can be done thorough donations to the Rotary Foundation and becoming Paul Harris Fellows.  He honored one of our club members, Alan Mushett, for becoming a Paul Harris Fellow Plus 8!!  Congratulations Alan!!!
