Cardboard Boat Races

Come join the fun between noon-430p Friday Aug 18th for our 2nd Year of Competing in the Great Cardboard Boat Races of 2023! 

Hosted by Crossroads United Way of Elkhart County in the pond outside the LaSalle Bristol Building off CR 17

You can come out the day of and enjoy the races, and they have plenty of volunteer opportunities on Aug. 17th (day before) and 18th (race day). If you know others who would like to get involved, have them visitvolunteer.crossroadsuw.org and click on the Great Cardboard Boat Race. 

• Sponsorship Opportunities – the UW has varying levels of sponsorships from $1,500 to $10,000.  Sponsorships help underwrite all the costs associated with holding the race and ensure that this event can continue year after year.
• Help Float Our Boat - a campaign to win People's Choice by raising the most funds  
• There will be food and beverage trucks available, a DJ, and opportunities to vote on your favorite boat design
