Rotary Talks, World Listens

25,000 Rotarians are assembled in the beautiful, progressive city of Toronto, Province of Ontario. Canada.  The Town Crier called us to attention, and an Indigenous Native Descendant invoked the meeting with an Ojibway prayer.  The excitement crescendoed with Native drumming and a Lion dance.

Rotarian's teeming creativity and collaboration well expressed their commitment to Service Above Self in the Hall of Friendship.  With over a thousand examples of international cooperation around six areas of focus, the extensive network of humanitarian service offered an inspiring opportunity learn and participate.

Whether as a Rotary Action Group- RAG- tackling Addiction, Literacy, Clean WAter, Maternal Health, Vision, Dental or Access to mention a few, the diversity and reach of Rotarians is far and wide.

Flanked by Nigerian Rotarians, Sunrise President Elect Rich Randolph poses in front of "Vickie", a substantial fund raiser for Ending Polio.  The 1931 Ford Mode A travelled 10,000 miles alone to raise funds.  Her in Toronto Vickie, short for Victoria, was driven from Washington State as a shakedown for her upcoming Beijing to Paris Endurance Run.

Take a close look at Vickie's vitals:  Alternator, enhanced head and carburetion, AND air conditioning!  If you want to go FAR, go TOGETHER!!
