Veterans Day celebrates military veterans' commitment and sacrifices to defend and preserve our freedom. Peace is re-building and recovering from the destruction of armed conflict.
Since 2008 the Institute for Economics and Peace has been working to support the ongoing goal of sustainable positive peace. Developing metrics to gauge a nation's "positive peace index" the institute assembles statistical data in 27 areas of focus.
In January 2025 our District is hosting a Peace Conference, January 24,25 and 26 at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park.
