Planning For Play
Sunrise Rotary ~ that is US ~ received approval last week of our District Matching Grant to fund adaptive and inclusive play equipment in a Santa Rosa City Park!!
Through a generous challenge offer from Dan Pulcrano, Max Child's brother-in-law, Publisher of local newspapers and member of San Jose Rotary. Santa Rosa Sunrise has embarked on building a partnership with the city in enhancing play opportunities within our parks.
Our current grant is to provide 2 special molded seats for existing swing frames. City Park Planner Scott Wilkinson has been very supportive and is eager to help us implement our plan and develop further enhancements with broader scope.
President Jack, Rich Randolph and Paul O'Rear invite you to join this "play group" to discover and assess future sites and equipment to fulfill unmet community needs for adaptive and inclusive play.
