Change of Venue - One Air Museum Way

Our October 6 regular meeting will be a Change of Venue to the Pacific Coast Air Museum. The museum is located near the Sonoma County Airport at One Air Museum Way, Santa Rosa, CA 95403.

This interesting museum features historic military and civilian aircraft. It is operated entirely by local volunteers, who are aviation history experts, and most of whom are retired military aviators. Volunteers will speak to us about the history of the museum and its aircraft collection, followed by a walking tour.

Please arrive 7:00a-7:30a -- and park in the upper parking area. Then enter the main museum building where one of our members will direct you to the hangar where our breakfast meeting will take place. The hangar is a covered outdoor venue. We will be meeting rain or shine; please bring a jacket and hat, since it is likely to be cool early in the morning.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

7:30a-7:45a -- Breakfast and business meeting.

7:45a-8:00a -- Breakfast and talk by museum volunteers.

8:00a-8:30a -- Walking tour of the aircraft.

8:30a -- Meeting adjourned.

8:30a-9:00a -- Continued touring for those who want to stay on.
