Today’s Topic: “Vocational Service Talks”

Of the five Avenues of Service in Rotary, Bhichai Rattakul refers to Vocational Service as “the Foundation of all Rotary”. As Rotarians join Sunrise, they are presented with a Red Badge, and in order to change to a Blue Badge, there are a number of duties they must perform, including the delivery of a Craft Talk, or Vocational Talk to the membership. Some are short, and some require more than one meeting to present, but most are summarized for us to review, under a section of the “Committee Pages” on our website. In order to review these presentations, you must be a member, and be logged into the site with your club account. Here’s how;

ImageOn the main page of the website, left hand column, under Site Pages, click on “Committee Pages”. ImageThe Committee Pages has a list of Pages for each Avenue, Club, Community, International, Vocational, New Generations, as well as pages for our fundraising, ImageCulinary and Golf. Click on “Vocational Service”. The Vocational Service Committee page has one additional link, marked as “Vocational Talks”.

The Vocational Service Talks page lists the members we have the summary of Vocational Talks for. Once you click on any of these linked members, you will be prompted to log in, as it requires a members account to view these summaries. If you do not remember your log in information, contact our Web Editor (Dave Lorenzen) for that information.
