On Tuesday, August 6th, shortly after noon we received the 2024 SRKSEP Team at SFO; The team includes 9 students from from Kagoshima and Hiroshima, their chaperone Umi, along with Kazahiro and Tomoko Aratono, long time SRKSEP hosts from Kagoshima;

After gathering all the Team, drivers Tom Eakin, Steve Herron, and Dave and Shauna Lorenzen traveled north to Santa Rosa, but first stopping at Chick-fil-A in Serramonte for their first "American: lunch.

Once feed well, it was a sleepy trip to Santa Rosa, where the team was greeted by their host families and whisked off to their Santa Rosa Homestays for the start of a 2 week adventure.

Tomorrow their journey starts with a visit to the Nagasawa exhibit at Paradise Ridge Winery, along with the sculpture gardens. Then the afternoon at the Sonoma County Fair.
