Find a veteran to bring.

Buy two tickets for a total cost of $30 (2 tickets@ $15, price has not gone up in 17 years) to attend with a veteran, come and donate one ticket back to the club for a veteran, or donate both tickets back to the club for two veterans.  Checks payable to the Club, will have tickets at the event, IOU’s acceptable.

Be in seats at the Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium (across from the Fair Grounds) at 11:30, 11/9 2017 as the program starts promptly.

Remember the Club meeting for the week is at the event (change of venue).

Dear fellow Rotarians and Friends, our regular November 16 meeting will be the Greatest Guest Day Challenge -- a special meeting for Rotarians and guests, with a very special and timely program provided by Jennifer Strong of Lakeport.  Jennifer will speak on how several Rotary clubs came together to raise substantial funds to rebuild homes and businesses after the devastating Lake County fires.  Jennifer has already begun coordinating a Rotary response for Sonoma County relief as well!

There will also be brief presentations on a few projects Sunrise Rotary is involved in for the benefit of those not familiar with the club.

The particulars for the meeting are:

Date/Time:         Thursday, November 16, 7:30 am- we may run over but to no later than 8:45

Location:            Franchetti’s Restaurant (most likely, to be confirmed)

                           1229 N. Dutton Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401

Full breakfast meeting -- $25

Each Rotary member is asked to bring at least one guest, more if possible.  Please consider inviting anyone you know who is civic and service minded and enjoys good fellowship!  Close to a dozen guests have been invited to date.  Please invite people “early and often” and keep me apprised of responses so we can get a headcount.

Attached are a couple of flyers that outline several of the programs Sunrisers support with time, energy and funds.  These will give your potential guest an idea of who we are and why they should consider looking at the club before they arrive.

Former Members and Friends of Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary: you are welcome as always and encouraged to join us and to bring guests!  Please let me know if you can make it and the names of any guests.
