Steve appoints women to attend Monte Rio "Women in Rotary" event, but....
Like so many other gatherings, the event has fallen to the Coronavirus!
We were all looking forward to seeing Tim Miller and celebrating "Women in Rotary with his Rotary Club in Monte Rio. Eloise Tweeten and Mary Banks were particularly excited to be designated as representatives of the Sunrise club and gifted with a free lunch! But alas! Like everything else that is fun and festive, the event to honor our Rotarian women has been postponed... indefinitely...
So, let us all give the many, beautiful, talented, intelligent women in Rotary, particularly the women in our Sunrise club, a rousing round of applause! We all deserve it. Particularly for having to put up with all the many men in Rotary for so very, very long!
