Not long ago and very near, Paul O'Rear and Mary Banks tend the entry planting area at Lewis School.
The Peace Pole signifies the pledge its planters made to work in creating sustainable positive peace.
At this workday, were Sunrise Rotarians, Elsie Allen Interact, Curtis Short, longtime renowned community garden and soil steward.
At their best, Peace Poles represent the shared energy and vision potential when purpose and plans synergize.
The local community signature of support for collaborative engagement, Peace Poles are already planted in Healdsburg, above at Lewis School, and at below at Windsor High School.

Barbara McChesney with Windsor Rotary is one of the participants dedicating this Peace Pole in May. Representatives from the school administration, Interact and community at large ~ all beneficiaries and stakeholders in building sustainable positive peace.
This multi-generational gathering exemplifies the appeal and power in promoting positive peace.
