Turn~Turn~Turn: Rotate Roles

The time for your "turn" is coming up! In July, Debra Robertson takes the gavel and commences her term as Sunrise President.  Debra is in the third of her four year commitment to club leadership.  Her creativity, leadership and vision took a leap, gulp of shared confidence to move Sunrise forward another year.

Yes, this is a sales pitch:  A high curveball tracking on each of our strike zones. For 37 years Sunrise has been growing Rotarians, serving locally and internationally building Goodwill and Better Friendships.  Emerging strong from the Covid interim adapting, the same resilience we mustered following fire losses continues to guide our innovating progress.  We work and play very well together.

Driving our momentum are the 63 of us, you and me, energized with each of our unique enterprising engines.  We like movement!  We thrive on change.  Part of the worldwide orbit of Rotary International, 1.4 million members in 44,000 local clubs, we are not alone.

The above photo was taken last week at Union Hotel while Debra had the attention of past club presidents.  This long standing tradition underscores the depth of support and our organizational, mostly accurate, memory! A legacy which keeps on giving and guiding.

No board or presidential nominee need feel without abundant encouragement and support.  Sunrise' strength is rooted in shared vision and sweat equity.

The Nominating Committee is composed of the five immediate past presidents.  Currently yours truly Rich Randolph, Jack Strange (almost) Jennifer Adams, Paul O Rear and Marty Behr.  Our mandate is a slate of candidates by the second meeting in December. You can run ~ which we want you to ~ right onto the slate. No need to hide.  Take a term turn!  Talk to a current board member, dive into your club website.  Get a new sense of the legacy you are part of.
