Bio
Dr. Wilson received his Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Dominican University of California and his PhD from USC. His current research focuses on understanding how natural genetic variation can influence response to diet to affect longevity and health. In his research, he has screened for genes which regulate body mass, triglyceride content, and overall health and longevity under different dietary conditions. Dr. Wilson enjoys explaining his research and scientific interests to all audiences, especially those of a non-scientific background (like us).

Dr. Kenneth Wilson provided information about COVID-19, including the Buck's efforts against the virus, and resources for older adults to stay healthy and informed. The talk will also provide background information on the Buck Institute and details about Dr. Wilson’s own research projects as part of the overall mission to eliminate age-related disease.
