The Program from December 12th

Our program for December 12, 2019 featured the fabulous LOBOSONG, the auditioned singers from Elsie Allen High School.  LOBOSONG is a smaller, perhaps more polished group than we often see at our annual holiday show.  They were amazing.  Led by the award-winning music director, Kyle Thompson, and accompanist, Justin Pyne, LOBOSONG sang some of our favorite, most iconic, tunes, including “Do You Want to Dance [under the moonlight],” “Dancing in the Street,” “Let’s Do the Time Warp Again,” “Y.M.C.A.”, and “Silver Bells,” among others.  These kids put on a great show and they are always one of our favorite programs.  Paul O’Rear also mentioned that the Elsie Allen group will perform their annual Lobo Lounge program on January 17 and 18 at 6:30 and 8:30.  This show is one of the most fun nights of the year and I encourage you to consider going.  It’s worth it.

Thank you to this amazing and dedicated group of young adults (and Kyle and Justin, of course).  You made our Thursday morning special and give us renewed confidence that the future is bright!  Well done and see you next year!
