Seahawk chief cites team strengths and winning strategies
The Seahawks seek to maintain the lead in the Sunrise Super Raffle that will culminate Ain a few weeks with a grand drawing for a luxury cruise or $10,000 cash. Team captain and coach Steve Amend recently shared the secret of his team's success.
"The Seahawks Super Raffle Team is made up of All Stars," says Amend. "Right now the leading rusher is Paul O'Rear followed by John Jones."
"Many others contribute to our high scoring offense by inspiring friends and business associates to buy a ticket or have generously purchased tickets and donated them to family, friends and business associate/clients," he added. "Some want to go on the trip so bad they bought tickets for themselves!"
Coach Amend cites his "charm, wit, persuasive manner and rugged good looks" as the inspiration that drives his team. And he confides that a secret strategy in his playbook (Good Old Fashioned Guilt) is kept in reserve if needed.
Amend motivates the Seahawks by keeping their eyes on the prize. "We all want to have a successful event and support our Rotary Club's Giving Goals during these difficult and trying times" He also sends a challenge to other teams. "Watch out Bears, Packers, Niners and Steelers! The Seahawk Super Raffle Train is going to run you off the field! Our goal is to sell 300 tickets!
