Sunrisers Support Cyclists
Eager and smiling early rising Sunrisers Matt Crock, Kristine Burns, Penny Millar, Peter Treleaven and Eloise Tweeten sign in to get their assignments while Rich Randolph snapshots.
Cueing up: Eloise vetted via color coded tags who lined up first. With nearly 2,000 riders covering 4 routes ranging from 139 miles to 30, the "Growler" peddlers were first.
It was a great way to start the day! So many happy, energetic cyclists of all ages enjoying Sonoma County scenery AND supporting local programs advocating for At-Risk youth. Congressman Mike Thompson commended the group for it's dedication and in remarks gave a shout out to Forget Me Not Farm, a beneficiary of the ride and Sunrise Rotary.
On your mark, get set ~~RIDE ON!!
