Heads up Peter Hoberg!!
Completing last minute off course tasks will help Peter keep his mind on the ball, his and others. Twenty foursomes gathered for this year's annual tournament at Oakmont's long 7200 yard West Course.

Sunriser Jim Moir monitored the Putting Contest. Sunriser Paul O'Rear managed to outsmart the curves and hazards and won!

Chairman Steve Zwick took another Bye this year to concentrate on his logistic game, and leave play to the amateurs. With perfect weather, only skill, or the lack thereof could be credited for the final results.

Warren Smith measured his closest to the pin. Not close enough this time.

Del Raby supervises the Casino Hole as Steve Rogers surreptiously receives instructions from co-Supervisor Shauna Lorenzen.

Penny Millar and Mrs. Moshin cater to players thirst!

Where did it go??

Art Fichtenberg of Valley of the Moon Rotary joins Steve Rogers admiration of Long Driver Bennet Valley Pro Steve Donner's 200 yard - drive around the doglegged 452 yard fairway. Out of sight is Rich Randolph capturing the shot which counted as his needed drive contribution.
A surprise dark horse team with Paul O Rear, Dave Dillwood, Trey McAllister, Mike Young and Bob Hildebrand came in first with a modest 59! Paul also won the Putting contest.
The women's division winners were Jennifer Hembd's two groups with a tie at 75. In true Rotary style Jennifer's duellers split the prizes and gave high fives.
Many memorable stops along the 18 hole course were made compliments of club chef's and tenders: John Jones paired grilled Bread Cheese and tender Nicaraguan beef with Ardy's special sauce. Jennifer Adams, Kent Seegmiller and Nancy Aita supervised the Herradura watering hole. Former member and super supporter Paul Stathatos plied sausages c/o Mike Kelly. Shauna and Del marshalled the Casino Hole, and Pro Driver Steve Donner of Bennett Valley kept the looong #16 from exhausting distance challenged player's mulligans. Thank you Steve! Penny Millar and Sommelier Mrs Moshin paired delightful pours of Moshin wines.

Eloise Tweeten squeeks a high 5 in celebration to a round well played!

Below, in white, former Sunriser and ongoing supporter Paul Stathatos schmoozes.

Ahh, the 19th Hole!
Many hands made this tournament move smoothy: Olin Leasher, Dave Lorenzen, Max Bridges, Harry Coffey, and Peter Treleaven ported signs, beverages, food, and whatever was needed to keep the players advancing happily. If your name has not been mentioned, please take a bow, and know you made it happen!
Congratulations Steve and Team Sunrise!!
