Progressing Toward Practice
Above, Nicaraguan Dentist Javier Fonseca and friend meet and greet at a Tampa Florida workshop. Both are progressing towards their goal of licensed practice in the United States.
Javier successfully passed the rigorous National Dental Board exams in December. That is a first step in his path. This workshop prepares him for clinical exams in April. The entire process is long and arduous. Even with his foreign certification, U.S. regulations require graduation from a U.S. accredited school. Both Javier and his wife Ana Lucia have been preparing for their career resumption here for the past year and a half.
Javier and Ana Lucia donated their dental office equipment to the Sabalos Clinic through Sunrise partner San Juan Rio Relief. Exam chair, XRay and autoclave sterilizer raised the Sabalos Dental services tremendously.
